Here I have the two (negative/positive) stainless steel mesh interleaved with the spacers standing next to a 1" coupler. I've filed the interior of this coupler to allow the mesh assembly to slide without restriction. This will make the final assembly easier. I'm glad I'm up-to-date on my tetanus shots.
