After a lot of reading, and searching, and pricing I've come to the conclusion that my best source of inexpensive (relatively) parts is my local hardware store. This said, I'm using 6" ABS drainage pipe as my outer hull. This hull will not be water tight, so I'm not worried about it's pressure tolerances, I just need the outer structure.
