Ick! Talk about ugly! I can't help but think of the worms from Arrakis. I used a blow torch to heat/soften the ABS. Thanks to a friend of mine, I made sure I had good ventilation prior to heating up the ABS. It gives off a poisonous gas when heated. I'll have to reheat & reshape a little before I use the ABS glue/weld to finalize the shape.
